Euro-Mex Plus
Euro-Mex Plus is a specialized company in the logistics of both non-refrigerated and refrigerated goods. For the expansion of their activities, with a focus on pharmaceutical products that are constantly monitored for temperature and humidity, the company chose a new location near Liège airport. To realize this project, manager Marc Smets engaged Sabcobel for the complete design of the refrigeration installation. Hereby we function both as study bureau as well as installer.
Of the four halls, three have specific temperature requirements: Zone of 15°/25°C Zone of 2/8°C Deep-freeze zone at -20°C In all three rooms, there is also active humidity control. For the 15°/25°C zone, we chose a glycol circuit with a propane chiller with a capacity of 210 kW. This fully meets the customer’s requirements of durability and redundancy. For the other two halls, we chose a CO2 DX application with an output of 175 kW for positive cooling and 50 kW for freezing.
